Challenge
Since 2023 was the inaugural year for Blockchain Braintrust, Saint Rock Media assisted in securing strategic partnerships with sponsors who aligned with the event's ethos. We also had to ensure faultless project management in order to set excellent precedent for future years. Furthermore, we had to craft a brand identity that resonated with the target audience and conveyed the event's unique vibe.
Solution
To ensure the event resonated authentically with its target audience, Saint Rock Media developed a brand identity that reflected the ethos of collaboration, innovation, and empowerment. We then distilled this identity into a robust sponsorship deck which enabled the host committee to secure funding from leading venture firm AndreessenHorowitz (a16z). We also proposed the idea of developing a commemorative NFT, a uniquely web-3 touch that elevated the experience.
Saint Rock Media's strategic approach resulted in a highly successful event that brought together prominent Black leaders from across the DeFi and Web3 ecosystems including U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission Commissioner Kristin N. Johnson.
By securing partnerships with sponsors aligned with the event's mission, they not only provided crucial financial support but also facilitated valuable connections and opportunities for collaboration within the community. Furthermore, the carefully curated brand experience enhanced the event's impact, leaving attendees inspired and equipped with a strategic plan to drive positive change within their respective spheres of influence.
