Challenge

We faced the challenge of creating an engaging experience that increased customer NPS scores and attendance rates. Leveraging insights from previous Circle Day events, the 2024 event presented us with the task of enhancing hospitality and entertainment. The goal was to craft an elevated attendee experience, ensuring seamless event execution while aligning with Squarespace’s brand values. Additionally, we were tasked with onboarding and managing diverse vendors, sourcing entertainment, and creating opportunities for meaningful connections across both virtual and in-person formats.

Solution

We delivered an integrated hybrid experience at Squarespace HQ by managing every production detail—from vendor coordination and curated catering to top-tier entertainment—while also collaborating with Squarespace’s technical team on RingCentral to keep virtual attendees connected in real time. Over 15 speakers, including Squarespace CEO Anthony Casalena and renowned developer Will Myers, explored strategies for elevating businesses through Squarespace, backed by seamless streaming and dynamic content that addressed attendee feedback on food and entertainment, ultimately uniting both in-person and online participants in an engaging, high-quality event.

The Ressults

Circle Day 2024 was a resounding success. The event garnered an attendance of over 1,800 participants globally, including a max venue capacity of 150 in-person and 1,683 virtual attendees. The hybrid format effectively connected participants from diverse backgrounds and locations, creating a community-driven platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration. Speakers appreciated the opportunity to share their insights with an active and enthusiastic audience, which made the experience rewarding and impactful for them as well. The engagement levels during keynote speeches and Q&A sessions reflected the influence these world-class speakers had on attendees, fostering an environment of inspiration and learning. Delighted with the engagement and exposure generated, Squarespace praised the elevated hospitality and entertainment, with Re-fresh Cafe standing out as a highlight for attendees. The event deepened their community identity and spotlighted visionary builders, global creatives, and aspiring designers, empowering the global Squarespace network to Power Up.
